Storytelling with Dashboards

Dashboard design course online or in person

In business, decisions often can’t wait. You don’t have time for a data analyst or professional storyteller to turn dashboard insights into a neat narrative, you need to see the story right there, in the dashboard.

A dashboard may not be the perfect medium for storytelling, but applying storytelling logic to it can transform its impact. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to weave a clear narrative into your dashboards so they not only show numbers, but also explain why things are happening.

We’ll cover the concept of business drivers, and how to make sure your dashboards can answer the “why” question. You’ll learn how to structure your layout so it guides users along a logical story path.

By the end, you’ll know how to turn your dashboards into tools that not only inform but also inspire immediate decisions.
